WASHINGTON, DC, April 26, 2018 – FOX Architects was recognized with an IIDA MAC Premiere Design Award for their redesign of CQ Roll Call‘s Washington, DC office. The project took home the Special Mention award in the 15,000 – 30,000 SF category at the annual industry awards ceremony at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, DC. IIDA MAC Premiere honors the best in regional interior design, showcasing work from local firms.
In addition to this project for CQ Roll Call, FOX Architects designed CQ Roll Call’s previous office in 2011, winning a NAIOP Award of Excellence in 2012 and IIDA Bronze Award in 2013.
“I am so proud of the recognition we’ve received for this project,” said Jeremy Roither, Senior Project Designer at FOX Architects and lead designer on this project. “This is the second IIDA award we have won for our work with CQ Roll Call, and it is a testament to the 15-plus-year relationship we have built with them. They have changed immensely as a company since their last space, so it was very gratifying to have the chance to design a new one that allows their continued growth and evolution.”
The FOX Architects design team included Jeremy Roither, Mauricio Mares-Poletti, Marie Moutsos, Dana Biedrzycki, and Jim Allegro. Additional partners on the project were HITT Contracting, Cushman & Wakefield, WGS, KTA, PhotoWorksGroup.
