CQ Roll Call, a media company, wanted a space that encouraged staff to work collaboratively and reflect the pride they take in empowering citizens with the ability to communicate directly with Congress. Having large atriums dividing the floorplan in their new office space, the FOX Architects team needed to think outside the box to find a solution to strengthen CQ Roll Call’s internal and external communication.
The FOX Architects design team developed a solution to build connections to each quadrant in the form of a neighborhood anchor. These neighborhoods reinforce CQ Roll Call’s brand and draw staff in with textural carpets, open ceilings, and photo frames showcasing their award-winning photography. Flexible furniture and white boards support various types and sizes of collaboration, and further tie together the opposite wings of the space. A thoughtful graphic and branding solution solidifies the continuity and reinforces CQ Roll Call’s brand with iconic photography of DC monuments and architecture.
CQ Roll Call’s new office is more conducive to collaboration and better reflects their work culture. This dynamic office experience generates a tangible buzz of energy that can be felt traversing the space the company is proud to show off.
