PROJECT DESIGNER(PA)

The primary responsibility of the project designer is to execute small to medium projects with minimal supervision.

The Project Designer will be responsible for project leadership; oversight performance of assigned studio projects; project fee/budget analysis. This position will perform in conjunction with project managers, principals, and interior designers to maintain project quality, ensure profitable project performance and client satisfaction.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Knowledge of construction methods appropriate to the firm’s work.
Proficient with AutoCad 2000, Microsoft Office Suite.
Possesses strong organizational and time management techniques.
Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently.
Strong presentation skills both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently or on a team.
Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising the design/technical intent or relationship with fellow workers.
Must be able to work over 40 hours per week on as needed basis.

 

Education Experience and Skills:


Minimum 4 year degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
NCIDQ certified.

Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in interior design with an emphasis on commercial office projects.
Knowledge of construction methods appropriate to the firm’s work.
Proficient in AutoCad 2000, Microsoft Office Suite.
Budgeting, scheduling, and assembling capabilities (i.e. contracts, specifications and drawings).
Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently and efficiently.
Strong presentation skills both written and verbal.
Knowledge of current laws, codes and titles in relation to construction.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and teambuilding skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising the design/technical intent or relationship with fellow workers.


SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for overseeing management responsibilities and for promoting the FOX culture to their team and to their clients. The individual in this position must lead and inspire their team. The SPM also represents the firm in marketing presentations to perspective clients, writes proposals and develops fees, and executes contracts. The SPM is responsible for day-to-day project management, identifying leads, and meeting deadlines.
