United States Government
This highly secure government client’s diverse requirements present a number of design opportunities. Facilities include a 29,000 sf cafeteria, separate cafe area, predominantly open office environment with private offices, a fitness center, medical offices, and high density file area. The private office configuration employs demountable partitions to allow for flexibility and growth and represents a new approach to typical government agency office layouts. This project also earned a LEED-NC Silver certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
The space was designed and executed to provide a welcoming environment, embrace cultural changes, and attract and retain key individuals. Coordination of vital security and technology components was integral to the success of this project. The base building team and FOX Architects worked seamlessly to provide a customized building.
