MCB’s prior space was considerably outpaced by their culture and in such a state that it was impacting their ability to market themselves. Standardized workstations and balanced office sizes were a vast improvement from their previous office which was a menagerie of used office furniture. Through standardization, our team was able to increase MCB’s efficiency as well as build-in a measured flexibility to easily accommodate changes of a growing business.  The prior office featured a single conference room accessible through a convoluted series of hallways. Their new office possesses a number of easily accessed conference rooms catering to their changing business practice.

The design features a bright and welcoming reception area to greet employees and clients making a striking first impression that conveys their corporate identity. Aligning the overhead light with the distinctive movement in the carpet serves as an intuitive wayfinding method to guide people into and through the space.

The layout of the office building created a natural collision point and our team wanted to capitalize on the opportunity to provide MCB with accommodations to ensure that the space could take advantage of these tag-ups. The solution was a “libr-area” that houses their collection books, as well as comfortable seating and a computer workstation utilized as an alternative workplace option for staff and visitors.
