Principal

Serving as both Project Manager and Project Designer at FOX Architects, Mr. Wood’s portfolio includes a wide variety of projects, from master planning and corporate commercial build-to-suit to extensive work with the US Government. Mr. Wood’s experience covers all project phases from conceptual design to construction administration. He is well-versed in Building Information Modeling (BIM), a process that allows building teams to virtually design, construct and manage building environments. The BIM process allows the building team to create, manage, analyze, modify and disseminate project-related data to the entire team over the life-cycle of the built environment. Mr. Wood is widely published on the topic. In addition, he is managing the organization’s rollout of Revit and other software that will be utilized in the BIM process to streamline the design, construction and maintenance of facilities over their life cycle. His portfolio also includes Transferable Development Rights projects that reinvent or reposition existing, occupied buildings within Washington, DC.
